Российские военные специалисты покидают Сербию после выполненной миссии по оказанию помощи в борьбе с пандемией коронавируса. Торжественную церемонию проводов устроила россиянам сербская сторона. Как сообщили журналисты РИА Новости, церемонию провели на военном аэродроме Батайница, находящегося возле столицы Сербии.

Российским военным специалистам оказали почести уважения на проводах после окончания миссии содействия в борьбе с распространением коронавируса глава Минобороны Сербии Александр Вулин, офицерский состав высокого ранга и российский посол Александр Боцан-Харченко.

Руководивший российским сводным отрядом генерал-майор Чернышов на выступлении перед собравшимися отметил, что напор эпидемии удалось сломить общими усилиями местных властей и специалистов военного и медицинского, научного и гуманитарного профиля из России. Военный подчеркнул: «Мы вложили много сил, чтобы выполнить эту задачу».

Оборонное ведомство Сербии вручило российским военным, врачам и экспертам медали и дипломы. Этими знаками внимания и почёта Белград хочет отметить вклад в укрепление обороноспособности государства на Балканах.

Глава сербского оборонного ведомства заявил о постоянной благодарности, которая останется в народе Сербии по отношению к российским коллегам, пришедшим на помощь братской стране в нелёгкий период разгула коронавируса. Причём российская помощь поступила в Сербию своевременно и в самый тяжёлый для страны момент. Российские специалисты, по словам Вулина, «боролись, были трудолюбивыми, настоящими экспертами». Сербский народ гордится тем, что боролся вместе с российскими помощниками в то время, «когда те, кто намного сильнее и богаче нас, отказались от борьбы».

Напомним, что в марте текущего года власти Сербии обратились к России с просьбой оказать помощь в борьбе против распространения коронавируса. Москва направила гуманитарную миссию в Белград. С первых дней работы российской миссии более 170 пациентов местных лечебниц нескольких сербских городов были осмотрены российскими специалистами. Далее миссия только расширяла границы своего присутствия. Теперь, когда ситуация с заболеваемостью находится под полным контролем Белграда, российские помощники могут отправляться домой с чувством выполненного долга и благодарностью сербов.
